You do not need to learn Reactor Realms terminology before downloading. Pick a faction and print the PDF. The rules give the pieces their in-world names as you go.

1. Build Settlements
Your settlements grow your battlefield and determine how many creatures you can support.
2. Establish Reactors
Reactors stabilize Silverflow and give you AP — the energy used to play cards and activate effects.
3. Send in Creatures
Attack, block, break through defenses, and tear down the opposing settlements.
4. Guard your Dragons
Your Dragons provide powerful blessings and share the life total your opponent is trying to destroy.
Thornbound Preview
Life pushing back through the ruins.
The Thornbound rebuild with root, bark, amber resin and living growth. Their Reactors guide unstable Silverflow through the forest instead of forcing it into rigid machinery.
Gloomborn Preview
Nothing in the mire is wasted.
The Gloomborn survive where rot, fungus, bone and black water reclaim everything. To them, decay is not an ending — it is another part of renewal, and even Silverflow must pass through that cycle.
The world
The Collapse left more questions than answers.
Ruins, relics and broken records disagree about what the old world really was. The game lets you explore what the surviving realms believe now, while the deeper truth stays where it belongs: in the novels.

The free web preview is the first step. The full Reactor Realms release will expand beyond these two preview factions with additional cards, polished physical products, and the wider world behind the game.
For now: Thornbound and Gloomborn are the only released public-preview factions on this site. Unreleased factions and Legends remain part of the larger lore and future release plans.
